World Champion in Wado Ryu Kata
During my first years as a Karate athlete I trained Wado Ryu. 2006 was the first year I won the Wado Ryu European Championship in kata, and so I did 2007, 2009. 2008 was a big year for me because I became, for the very first time, a World Champion in Wado Ryu kata.

My name is Mia Karlsson and I’m born in a small city in the middle of Sweden. I have trained karate since I was 7 years old, and today I’m 18, so I have been training for almost 11 years now.
Championships
Since I was 9 years old I have competed regulary in Kata and only three times in Kumite. During my years as a karate athlete I have gotten both a lot of experience and several medals with value for me.
