I had a great warm up and i started the competition by winning 5-0 against a girl from San Marino in my first match. In my second match I injured my leg but tried my best to still finish my kata.. I met a great girl from Italy (who has won among many the europeans) who won against me and who later ended up in the final. Since she got to the final I had the chance to fight for the bronze in the repecharge, but because of my injury I couldn’t continue the competition and had to see the competition as “finished”… I ended up with a ninth place at Istanbul Open this year, and I am far away from satisfied. Now I’m home in Sweden and Im first gonna heal my leg and then I’m gonna fight and train harder than I’v ever done. Winners are not those who never fail but those who never quit.
