NORDIC CHAMPION 2015.

Posted by on Apr 13, 2015 in Blog | 0 comments

During these last weeks I’v been completely occupied. I’ve had a lot in school, had an four hour exam last week. And also with my trainings since I have been working hard for the Nordic championships, which took place in Iceland during this weekend. In the first match I was up against Norway, in the second against Finland and in my third against Denmark, and I won all three, which means I qualified to the final. I also won my fourth match, which was the final, so I took the gold in the senior category. My first senior gold at the nordic championships ever. I’m so happy with the result, but not satisfied with my katas. Now I’m back home in Sweden and motivated to start the summer-training with an increase in the total training hours. Train insane, or Remain the same.

Thank you all for the support!

The picture is on me and the National team coach, Karin Hägglund.

Guess what I’m doing today? 😉 Maybe not so hard to guess, I slept way too long today so I’m a bit behind my schedule but I’ll solve it. First of all I’m gonna study today, thinking of might spend most of the time studying in the sun since it’s much nicer than be inside. Secondly I will train today. Yesterday’s session went great, so now all I wanna do is continue where I left off.

Like I said, I’m behind my schedule so this will be a short post…

The photo is taken by CHRISTER HAGMAN. Great photo, thank you!!

Such a long day yesterday. Went up at 06.00 am, took my bag and went to the university where I studied until 11.00 pm. Fun life. Think that is a new record haha.

Today is a much better day, first of all I slept like a baby all night. Secondly I’m soon on my way to today’s first training session. Thirdly, exactly one week left until the Nordic championships. But except all that, I will only study today… Happy easter..

Started the day with an easy training session. Performed all my katas in a slow, controlled way with focus on my techniques. Ended the session with some basic kihon. Tomorrow it’s time for a training session with my Sensei, it’s gonna be real fun. Only 11 days left until the nordics.

Otherwise I have only been studying today. But I have been really effective today so now I’m gonna go to bed early, and let my body rest until tomorrow’s karate session.

Un beso

Pain is temporary, Glory lasts forever.

Only 1,5 week left to one of my biggest exams (until now) and I’m starting to get a little bit of panic haha there is so much to do, but it’s actually kind of fun so I think this panic-thing is just a phase I’m going trough at the moment. What else is happening? Well I’m studying, and I’m studying, aaand I’m studying. Kidding, I’m training too of course. The nordic championships is also in 1,5 week so I’m preparing for the competition too. I’m looking forward so much. I wanna get on that tatami and try to do better katas than I did this weekend. I wanna improve them, I wanna get better. I’m willing to do what it takes. Pain is temporary, Glory is forever.

Goodnight.

2xGOLD

Now is this year’s swedish national championship over. The result was like last year, 2 of 2 golds. One i U21 and one in Senior. I’m so happy with the result. I only lost one single flag during the whole competition so it feels really good haha. Now I’m in the car on my way back home. Today I will rest all day. Tomorrow I’m back in the dojo. Less than 2 weeks left to the Nordic championships. I have a lot of things I wanna improve and make better, so I will train extremely hard and give 200 %.

A have a lot of people to thank, but I wanna make a special thank you to my Sensei, without him I would never be where I am today.

This year’s Swedish national championships is now in full action. Done with one day, and one more day left. Today I competed in U21 Kata, and it went very well. Won all my matches 5-0, so 1 of 1 gold today. I’m looking forward until tomorrow morning, 8.00 will the Senior class start. I’m gonna do my best and then we’ll see what happens 🙂

Congrats to all Swedish champions from today. Sleep well.

Wednesday means training-evening with my Sensei. I’m looking forward so much. After two rest days now, I really want to get back in the dojo again. I’m hungry after “karate” haha. Today University doesn’t start until 15.15 so I got a lot of time now during the morning to finish all my work, pack my bags and so on.

The picture is from the european championships. These are just a few of all kids who I took pictures with and wrote autographs. So sweet!!

Train hard, and then rest hard.

It’s not only important to train hard, it’s important to rest too. If you want to be successful you gotta give your body time to rest, so today is my only rest day before the Swedish national championship. This year the competition will be held in Gothenburg, so during friday I will start my travel.

Today I have been at the university for a short lesson and after that I have studied a lot on my own. Had a 10 minute break in the sun but now I’m back again with my books. This was a short post but really gotta finish my homework.

SWEDEN.

Back in Sweden. I’v had a really great trip to Istanbul, but it feels great to be back in my home, in my dojo, in my bed. You gotta enjoy the moment, and I enjoyed our trip but now I will enjoy being home. The weather wasn’t that good in Sweden though… Cold… Windy… Uh… Istanbul was so much better. Anyway, tomorrow I’m back at University and after that I’ll have a hard session with a lot of sequence-training I think.

The picture is on me and some of the sweet turkish kids I met in Istanbul who wanted to take a photo with me.

Winners never quit. Quitters never win.
